a word about...
Uncertainty
I tell my clients that embracing uncertainty as a part of life is a step on the path to Presence. A truer way to say this is:

It is part of the human condition to be terrified and paralyzed by the uncertainty of not knowing. It is one of the most difficult things to acknowledge, much less to embrace, and find comfort in the not knowing.
Not knowing what is next, not knowing whether you will succeed, not knowing if you will be loved and accepted.
And, if you did know, what would you change?
Would you love more and harder? If so, then do it.

Would you be more vulnerable? If so, then do it.
Would you sleep more or less? Would you stand in your truth more loudly? Would you be more generous with your time, money or other currency such as kind words and charity? If so, then do it.
Would you practice more self love and self compassion? Take better care of your body? What would you...?

What is the cost of fighting or pushing against an uncertain world? Anxiety, worry, stress.
The real truth is that when we pay attention, we are building our ability to accept uncertainty and find presence.
Ignore your monkey mind that wants to plan, set expectations and speculate on outcomes.
Pay attention to what your body is telling you and what your heart is singing and you will progress along the path toward presence and embracing the uncertainty of life's promises and betrayals.

musings...
Spirit of the Healer
I am the Freest Spirit of the Healer,
The Lover and the Brilliant Heart
I am the purest love of the horse
I am the soul of the wildest
and gentlest of the herd.
I am free of bit and saddle
Riding unbridled and bareback
I dance at the edges and
Fall off when I laugh so hard I lose my balance
I am the Jaguar
I am the Jaguar
You should know that I will not hurt you
And I won’t be tamed
I want you to know that I will lick you with love
And nibble
At your preconceived ideas of my existence
Of who and what you think I am
I will nibble and bite the virtual clothes
Off your unconscious beliefs.
